Parent Training Series for Vietnamese-Speaking Families

Thursdays March 21, 2024 to June 6, 2024, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

In collaboration with the Federation for Children with Special Needs, The Circle of Vietnamese Parents will
organize a bilingual training series on Special education and IEP for Vietnamese-speaking parents. Topics
covered include: Understanding the Individualized Education Program (IEP), Basic Rights in Special Education,
Transition Planning, Neuropsychological Assessments, Educational Assessments, Effective Communication,
and more.
This training series will take place online on Thursday evenings from March 21, 2024, to June 6, 2024, from
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. It will be FREE and open to any Vietnamese-speaking families in the US. Several of the
presentation trainings will be recorded and shared so many families can access and view them later.
